ABOUT ME
I started my career working in a gallery on Madison Avenue. While there, I helped designers and corporate entities choose art for their client’s homes and offices. Wanting to be more involved in the creative aspect of design while utilizing my painting background, I took a job with Stark Carpet designing rugs, tapestries and home textiles. I worked with top design professionals including, and not limited to, Mario Buatta, Bill Diamond and Charlotte Moss. After several years in the home textile business, I began designing dinnerware under the brand 222 Fifth, Coventry and Westbury Court. Presently I am design for Mikasa, Pfaltzgraff & Gourmet Basics and have expanded into designing glassware and serveware.
My designs have been sold in Target, Home Goods, Macy’s, Z Gallerie, Pier 1, Neiman Marcus, Horchow Catalog, Bloomingdales and many more. I’ve created license designs for Elie Tahari, Joseph Abboud, Catherine Malandrino, Kim Parker, Cheri Blum, & Jessica McClintock. In addition, I started my own design business, Regina C Studio, that allowed me to branch out into other creative fields.
I further pursued my art education at the New York Botanical Gardens, obtaining my Certificate in Botanical Illustration. This opened up opportunities to display my paintings in galleries and allowed me to enter the high end stationery market designing for Crane & Co.
